So Excited for our Family Holiday!

I am counting the days of my mom and her boyfriend’s holiday! Woohoo! My family and I are so excited for their holiday. They will be traveling from Switzerland and they will arrive here in the Philippines on the 2nd of March. They will be having their one month vacation here with us so we make it sure that we will enjoy as we spend our family bonding time together.

Its been two years since my mom spend her holiday and its her boyfriend’s first time to visit the Philippines that’s why we make it sure that they will truly enjoy their holiday here as we visit some of the most visited and popular tourist spots as well as the new and interesting places to visit with here in our city and to the other local destinations as well. We are planning to visit Bohol, Camiguin, some local tourist spots in Misamis Oriental and also at our hometown in Bukidnon.

I’m sure its gonna a fun filled family holiday for us so watch out for my upcoming travel posts because in the next few days I will blog everything that we did out from our trips and travels.  ^_^

Our Family Holidays Here and There

Next month is suppose to be our family holiday in my mom’s working country in Switzerland. My mom wants us to spend a holiday as tourists for three months. But since we applied too late for our tourist visa, we decided to cancel our holiday this year and push it through hopefully by next year. We will comply the requirements in applying for a visa early next year so we could reach our target holiday months which will be on April to June 2013.

My mom already told her company boss that she’s going to spend a holiday next month. But since our holiday was cancelled, she decided to spend it together with her boyfriend as they go around and travel to many places around Switzerland and Germany.

On the other hand, my younger sister who also lives in Switzerland has decided to spend a holiday here in the Philippines this coming November or December. She’s here with us last year together with her friend and she loved it here because of the nice and warm weather.

She often gets sick specially when winter time comes that’s why she told mom that she will just spend her holiday here in our place. She will bring two of her friends. Wow! I’m sure this is gonna be fun and exciting! Its really quite fun and exciting year this year and next year for our family since all of us are busy on our travels and holidays here, there and everywhere.  :)

Holiday Cancelled

We supposed to have our family holiday this coming June 2012 in Switzerland. But due to the unforeseen circumstances, we cancelled our holiday and we move it hopefully by next year. One of the main reason why our holiday has been cancelled was because of our tourist visa.

We don’t have a visa yet and we need to apply since it is a three-month holiday. We have been informed that if we want to apply for a visa, we should prepare the necessary documents and requirements three months before our planned departure date. The processing of visa will also take 4-8 weeks so we need to stay in Manila during that period of time.

Our holiday is sponsored by my mom but I was informed that even if its an all expense paid holiday, it is not an assurance that our visa will be approved. They need a bank account statement showing our balance and cash flow transactions, income tax return and other proof of financial resources. Oh well, at least we know what are the requirements that we are going to comply so that next year we are already prepared for our visa application.

A Family Holiday Vacation Sailing

Aside from traveling around Europe, one of my dream travel destination is to go visit and sail away at the most appealing sailing destination in the world, and that’s located in Croatia. Ive heard so much about this place when my friend went for an adventurous vacation sailing.  She said that its the world’s most indented sailing area.It offers a variety of attractions and opportunities for each visitor from special and exciting aspects of sailing to a great many attractions where only Croatia can offer.

A sailing Croatia holiday would be the best holiday experience for me. I was enticed by my friend so I will definitely check out some discounted holiday deals for me and my family. We would love to experience the stunning setting for a sailing holiday.

I’m sure we would enjoy spending the day island hopping while exploring those rocky coves, then return to harbour and enjoy an evening meal in one of the many picturesque villages. Apart from the spectacular beauty of its many beaches and bays, we could also explore the distinctive culture, history and cuisine of this splendid area. We can’t wait for our holiday vacation sailing soon.

I really admire looking at these classic European inspired homes just like this beautiful European house that my mom took during her tour in Regensberg, Zürich, Switzerland. European house is such a reminder of the beauty and history of the Old Country.
