Travel Destination of the Week: Venice, Italy

Every week I am going to feature different tourist attractions, nice scenery and views from different countries which was visited by my family and friends. Since I am just a virtual traveler this time, I asked permission from them to post their travel photos here in my travel blog. All their photos are credited from them and I’d like to thank them for being so kind and so supportive to me.

For this week I am featuring the beautiful city of Venice, Italy which was visited by my friend who works as a cabin crew of Emirates airlines. She was so blessed in having this kind of job because she got the chance to travel around the world and visit many beautiful countries and nice places just like Venice.

Venice is actually one of my dream travel destination. If I have the chance to have a Euro trip, I would definitely visit this beautiful and romantic city. Venice is one of Italy’s top travel cities and a beautiful, romantic destination with many attractions. Its small, traffic free streets along the winding canals make for great walking. You’ll find many magnificent churches and palaces, lively squares, and interesting shops. Venice has many fine attractions and museums but one of the best things to do is take some time wandering along the canals off the main tourist track.

Tourism is a big business in Venice and the city has many exceptional tourist attractions to show off, often being greatly enhanced by their waterfront locations. Boat trips around the Venetian Lagoon and gondola rides along the canals are highly recommended in Venice because it provides tourists with a relaxing and easy way to see many famous attractions.

Our Fun Filled Adventure Trip

We just had a blast fun and adventure trip together with my family and friends last week. We have a special visitor, my sister and her friend. It was her first time to visit the Philippines. Were glad that she likes our country.  My sister Xyza and her friend Laura really enjoyed their 1 week holiday here with us.

We went to Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich,Bukidnon to visit the Forest Park.

We just hire a multicab which serves as our transportation back and forth. Good thing our visitors did not complain about it.

They don’t mind the rocky bumping and dusty road

They even love to sit at the top load of  the cab.

It was a fun filled adventure and joy ride trip indeed!

The City Where I Live

This week’s featured theme from Tuesday Travels is your Town/City (where you live now)

Welcome to Cagayan de Oro City! and yes its my city where I’m presently residing right now. It is popularly known as the City of Golden Friendship and it is the gateway to Northern Mindanao.

There are so many things for you to do when you’re here in  Cagayan de Oro. From fun time frolicking in the beaches, to sports adventures and street parties, you can definitely experience it in this city. Cagayan de Oro is very well known as the White Water Rafting capital of the Philippines too.

You can also try zorbing and have some fun splashing on zipline across the pool!

Whether its for business or leisure, there is something for you to enjoy here in CDO!

Wednesday Whites: White Chicks

These two sexy ladies in white will be spending their holiday here in the Philippines this coming July 15. Woot! I can’t wait to see them…why? because I will be their tour guide…hehehe! That’s my younger sister Xyza Mae (on the right) together with her friend Laura.

My sister already visited the Philippines a year ago together with my mom. But this time she will travel along with her friend who  will visit our country for the first time. But I think were gonna be having a language barrier here since they don’t speak English. My sister can speak and understand but not at all. They both speak Swiss-German language. Well, I think a little yes or no or a simple gesture or facial expression perhaps could help. LOL!

I don’t know…let’s see but I think were all gonna be enjoying ourselves while they are here. I will take them to our local tourist attractions, the beaches, go shopping etc etc …I’m sure its gonna be fun! ^_^
