So Excited for our Family Holiday!

I am counting the days of my mom and her boyfriend’s holiday! Woohoo! My family and I are so excited for their holiday. They will be traveling from Switzerland and they will arrive here in the Philippines on the 2nd of March. They will be having their one month vacation here with us so we make it sure that we will enjoy as we spend our family bonding time together.

Its been two years since my mom spend her holiday and its her boyfriend’s first time to visit the Philippines that’s why we make it sure that they will truly enjoy their holiday here as we visit some of the most visited and popular tourist spots as well as the new and interesting places to visit with here in our city and to the other local destinations as well. We are planning to visit Bohol, Camiguin, some local tourist spots in Misamis Oriental and also at our hometown in Bukidnon.

I’m sure its gonna a fun filled family holiday for us so watch out for my upcoming travel posts because in the next few days I will blog everything that we did out from our trips and travels.  ^_^

Spending their Holiday in the Philippines

I’m so glad when my mom told me that she and her boyfriend Markus will spend their holiday here in the Philippines next year. Woohoo! My family and I are so excited to see them both. Our family travel to Switzerland will be postponed once again since they will be the one who will visit us here. They are planning to spend their holiday on March 1 to 31, 2013.

My mom’s plan is to visit our hometown province in Bukidnon to see and witness the Kaamulan Festival. This is also the first time that her boyfriend Markus will visit the Philippines. We will let him see the different tourist spots and nice scenery here in our city and other places as well. I’m pretty sure he will enjoy the beautiful places, the people and the food that our country has to offer. It’s more fun in the Philippines, right? :)

On Holiday

My mom is still enjoying her two weeks holiday. Her holidays started last June 1 and it will end on June 18. After that, she will be back on her work at the Zurich airport so while she’s still on holiday mode, she really reminisce the day and time to relax and pamper herself. Aside from having some time to relax, my mom and her boyfriend loves to travel a lot. They both love to tour around in many places in Switzerland and Germany. They love taking pictures of nice view and scenery of different places that they are visiting with.

I am so thankful to them because of the wonderful photos that they captured, it gives me an idea what I should blog about. Since I am just a virtual traveler this time, their travel photos is a big help so I could share with you my dear readers the different attractions and travel destinations in Europe. :)

Which are the Best All Inclusive Hotels in Majorca?

For those thinking of booking all inclusive holidays Majorca is a fantastic choice of destination. As the largest of the Spanish islands, it has a great variety of resorts with a fantastic choice of hotel in each, so you’re sure to find a place to stay that is exactly what you were looking for.

It’s really important to find the right hotel when you book package holidays – particularly when staying all inclusive. You’ll be spending a lot of your holiday in the hotel, and taking most of your meals and drinks there, so it needs to be just right.

If you need help choosing your perfect hotel in Majorca, here’s a guide to two of the best, to point you in the right direction:

The Bellevue Lagomonte, Alcudia

This hotel, located in family friendly Alcudia, has four star reviews on TripAdvisor, and an Airtours customer rating of 93 per cent. Very impressive for an affordable, three star hotel.

The location of this hotel – overlooking a lake and backing onto a mountain range -  make for spectacular views, and are what makes this hotel a really special choice.

The Don Pedro Hotel, Cala San Vicente

This white walled hotel, in the peaceful resort of Cala San Vicente, also boasts an unspoilt location – right on the beach the beach and backing onto mountains. The reviews from TripAdvisor and Airtours customers are nothing short of excellent – with a 97 per cent rating overall. The food at the Don Pedro also rates a high score of 89 per cent, which makes it a great choice for those looking to stay all inclusive.

If neither of the above hotels get you excited, there are plenty more to choose from, across all of the main Majorca resorts from lively Palma Nova to relaxing Torrenova. Simply check out the Airtours website for the latest great deals.

Holidays with Everything: The Algarve

The Algarve has got something on offer for every style of holiday imaginable. Whether you like your holidays fast and furious with an array of watersports and adrenalin-pumping activities, or you’re into family-orientated days by the beach making sand castles and paddling in the shallows, this is one holiday destination that can deliver them all.

Whether you plump for basic self-catering accommodation, your own private villa or opt for all inclusive, holidays in Algarve offer plenty of choice and can provide more than enough options to suit even the smallest of budgets.

One of the best ways to visit the Algarve is as part of a package holiday. So-called because they’ve been boxed up to include return flights, accommodation, resort transfers and with the support of a local representative, this style of break is not for everyone but has certainly proven to be the travel of choice for millions of tourists, who happily visit local and far-flung destinations every year through tour operators both large and small.

Take Thomas Cook holidays for instance. One of the UK’s most established tour operators, Thomas Cook has been helping tourists go on holiday for decades and covers a vast range of destinations right across the globe. The Algarve is among one of the most popular, partly due to its classic combination of sun, sea and sand – but also because of its short flight time and affordability.

It’s this ease of accessibility that contributes to its relatively low costs, along with regular discounts by tour operators, late deals and the option to spread the cost of the holiday booking over a period of time. With families being squeezed by financial pressures and travel becoming an unaffordable luxury, holiday companies will do everything they can to hold onto your custom – which is great news for those of us who love a good bargain.
